Have experience in the specialty management of patients from diagnosis to the management and palliation of patients with Cancers at various sites in the body with special emphasis on the modalities of Radiation therapy and chemotherapy. My areas of interest in Oncology include head and neck Oncology, Gynaec-oncology and brachytherapy. My thesis dissertation was on the role of concurrent chemo-radiation therapy in the management of locally advanced head and neck cancers. In the past 17years, I have successfully managed two medical centres, SILOAM Medical Centre and Rita Nursing Home, presiding in positions of Chief Medical Officer (3 years) and Resident Medical Officer (5 years), respectively. The responsibilities included Emergency medical care, General out-patient care and hospital administration. During my MD course I have been posted as a special trainee at Govt. Arignar Anna Memorial Cancer Institute, Kanchipuram & Gynaec-Oncology Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology-Chennai for Brachytherapy one month each, during the period I have handled LDR, MDR & HDR Brachytherapy units. I have successfully managed two cancer centres, BELGAUM cancer centre and HCG cancer centre as a consultant and hospital admin incharge.

Have experience in handling Department of Radiotherapy at Belgaum Cancer Hospital, Belgaum and presently at Department of Radiotherapy, HCG Centre of Oncology, Erode individually. The centre is equipped with a Dual Energy (6 & 10 MV) Linac with multiple electrons backed by 3D TPS. Have experience in handling 3D Planning system such as CMS Xio, Prowess Panther, Direx IMRT System, Nucletron-Oncentra. I am a member of European Society Of Medical Oncology since June 2011 and member of ESTRO from 2012.
